H.L Leonard 397 Catskill Fairy 8' 3 p, 2t for Dt2/3 line. 2.5oz! D/L nickel silver cap and ring over varnished light wood spacer, cap marked: "The Leonard Rod, H.L. Leonard Rod Co., Makers", terminating in 4.5" cigar grip.
An extremely rare, slow, and light Catskill model rod with size 12 and 8 ferrules ferrules, .051 tips over varnish on an 8' rod!! Factory refinished Leonard blond cane w/3x3 node stagger, and in excellent condition, green/blue C/P wraps, green/blue tipped red at hook keper. Original bag, hang tag and tube. Excellent restored, all sections straight and tight, with perhaps the only detraction being the owner's initials scratched into the slide ring. Doubt it was ever fished after being restored. $1,950 SOLD!
H. L. Leonard Catskill 7 1/2 3p 2.5 oz Model ? for 3/4 line . D/L nickel silver cap and ring over varnished butternut spacer, well dented cap marked: "The Leonard Rod, Leonard & Mills CO.", terminating in 4" grip with cork ridging and loss. Size 13 and 8 oxidized ferrules, red wraps, both tips apx 1.5" short -one at ferrule end(ferrule needs reset), one at tip end. One tip guide missing but taped to tube, reverse twist guides channelized by silk, agate stripper. Bag with hang tag too worn to read, tube. Rod could use a full restoration to bring it back to glory! $750 SOLD!
H.L. Leonard Catskill 38H 7' 2p, 2t for Dt4. 3 oz. D/L nickel silver cap and ring over varnished butternut spacer, cap marked: "The Leonard Rod, H.L. Leonard Rod Co., Makers", terminating in 4.5" cigar grip which still has original paper documenting restoration work in 1972!
An extremely fine and famous Catskill model rod with size 11 ferrules. Factory refinished Leonard blond cane w/3x3 node stagger, tanish-olive wraps tipped red at hook keper. Original bag, hang tag and tube. Doubt it was ever fished after being restored. Back from factory in 1972 w/work order and grip cover still attached attesting to work done, w/one new tip and all sections factory revarnished. Second tip is down apx. 1 7/8" and has two factory applied overwraps, cap has dents typical of age and use. $1,100 SOLD!

An extremely fine light Catskill model rod with size 11 ferrules. Southbend Cross Doublebuilt Model 166 9' 3p 2t for DT6 line, #0475607. Good overall condition with some slight varnish softening in spots, black wraps tipped yellow(one mid wrap redone), sections full length, 1 tip needs straightening, 7 1/2" grip, uplocking seat w/ screw-up hood(needs reglued),sock and labeled tube. $245 SOLD!
Cross Rod 9' 3p, 2t. Blond cane w/5 14" full Wells grip terminating in a full NS pocketed reel seat impressed "Cross Rod and Tackle Co, Lynn Mass. The Cross 0738", reel seat quite dented.
Refinished, mid is down apx 3/4", butt ferrule probably a replacement. A pre-1925 rod, when the Cross name was sold to South Bend. A good, rare project rod with a lot of history. Canvas bag and case. $145. SOLD!
Unkown (Kit?) Rod: 7'6" for DT5: appears to have been a rod made from Herters parts(Herters bag, tube, ferrules) Ferrrules need dressed to assemble, but otherwise is fishable. Would be a good project rod for someone just getting into bamboo. $99. SOLD!
Ogden Smith The Warrior Brook Rod 7'2" 2p 2t for DT4. Blond cane, 3x3 node spacing, full intermediates in tan silk, green trim and ferrule wraps, agate stripper, oxidized ferrules, d/l bass hooded cap and aluminum slide band. Labeled bag and tube. 1 tip 5" short at ferrule end. $125 SOLD!
Leonard Graftek 7.5' 2p 1t. for Dt5. Dated 1977, grey graphite blank wrapped in red tipped black, ceramic stripping guides on butt, 6" cigar grip terminating in D/L aluminum screw lock over butternut.
In good overall condition, with most writing missing from shaft and owner's initials scratched into butt cap. Has a nice demeanor, not nearly as fast as most graphite rods today and made just before the unfortunate demise of the Leonard Company- a $160 price tag in 1976! Original labeled tube and bag. $165 SOLD!
Shakespeare Howald Wonderod 6'6" Fiberglass Spinning rod, light action, attractive green fiberglass blank, grip soiling but in VGC for age, wraps and decal very nicely intact. Original bag and labeled tube. $30 SOLD!
