Struble Seats: Model D-27: D/L Cap and ring seats, black and bright Nickel Silver

Bottom: Model U-8 U/L Screw Lock

The D-27 Cap and Ring seats are the best Struble offers, and feature fine, delicate knurling of the slide band and end cap, both of which are beautifully flared and polished. The spacers are generously mortised, and can even hold reels with thick brass ribbed feet, like the old Hardy Perfect reels! If you don't care to blue your own hardware, the D-27 can be supplied in a durable dark finish.These seats are 3 3/8" long, with a barrel OD of .685 and a .360 bore.

We've added the U-8 to our offerings for those looking for a high quality screw lock-type of seat. The locking ring features a nice diamond knurl and the threads are fine and well-polished. Struble uses a unique design for the slide band that features a slide band with a hood, which makes mortising the spacer unnecessary. So, if you are a rodmaker that likes to turn your own spacers, it's a piece of cake! Just buy the metal and turn your own! These seats are apx. 3 3/4" long, with a barrel OD of .685 and a .360 bore.
